Yashaswini

Hi, I’m Yashaswini, an incoming PhD student in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (EECS) at University of California, Berkeley starting Fall 2025. I completed my Integrated Masters in Electrical Engineering (BTech) and Machine Learning and Signal Processing (MTech) from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.

What makes the brain such an amazing learner? This question drives my passion for NeuroAI, the field where neuroscience and artificial intelligence meet. I am interested in almost all aspects and possibilities of NeuroAI. Some of the areas that I have explored include how the brain learns locally, consolidates memories and represents individual identity through patterns of neural connectivity and activity.
